The senses, mind, and one’s intellect are the home of desire O Arjuna. This covers Gyan and confuses the soul.

इन्द्रियाँ, मन और बुद्भि —- ये सब इसके वास स्थान कहे जाते हैं । यह काम इन मन, बुद्भि और इन्द्रियों के द्वारा ही ज्ञान को आच्छादित करके जीवात्मा को मोहित करता है ।। ४० ।।
